thoughts
This exfoliator has been sitting on my vanity for ages. I completely forgot about this until I saw my kids playing with it 😨. I was so glad that it was perfectly sealed. I meant to write a review on this but I was just bombarded with new products that I got distracted 😞. Before I tell you my thoughts, I want to say that I got this for free when I purchased my HG product, sk-ii fte on Sephora PH. I got the travel/sample size (30 ml). So, let's get started.

This exfoliator's consistency is like clay with tiny beads. It smells exactly like it too. It looks so green on camera but it really is gray with a hint of green. Sorry if my camera didn't capture the right color. In case you don't know, Arcona is a spa that expanded across the US and London.

I tried to take a picture of the tiny beads, hoping the camera will capture it but you can actually see it with the naked eye

When I first used this (day 1), I immediately found the tiny beads abrasive. I have acne-prone, combination and sensitive skin so when I used this, my skin reacted a bit. There was a bit redness on my cheeks. It also stung while I was massaging this on my face. They said to add water and I did which made the product less abrasive. I used about 1 tsp of this (which was stated on the directions) on my face and neck. I thought it wasn't enough at first but it turns out, it was perfect. I loved using it on my neck too. After using, I noticed my skin was bright and so smooth. I also noticed that my skin was clear. It looked better the next morning too. I found 1 or 2 bumps in the morning but I wasn't sure if it's because of this product or maybe because it was that time of the month.

On day 2 of using this, I noticed there was no redness anymore. I also figured that the bumps I had was due to my period. It still stung a bit though.

The pros, I like this and my skin kind of agrees 😊 I still use this because it makes my skin clear, bright and smooth. I don't get acne too. If you will use this, make sure to control the water that you add (I strongly suggest that you add water) because if you add too much, then you will be washing out most of the product. Just add a bit and if you feel like you need more, then go ahead. Just remember to add bit by bit.

The cons, I'm not a fan of the abrasive beads. It still stings when I use this. It hurts a bit to be honest (and yet I'm still using it 😁) but it's bearable. This is expensive too and is not available locally.

But why am I still using this when there are so many less abrasive exfoliators out there and not to mention, way cheaper than this? Because of the results. I really like what my skin looks when I use this. Plus, I don't want to waste beauty products 😅

will I purchase/re-purchase this?
it's possible

will I recommend this?
yes but not for those who have hypersensitive skin
