thoughts
Let me save you sometime and tell you right off the bat that I love, love and love this! This went on straight to my HG cleansers list. I think this won't come as a surprise since this was made by the queen of skincare, Caroline Hirons (btw, I'm a huge fan!) Anyway, let me tell you why it made to my list.

This comes with 2 different cleansers, hence the name double cleanse, one solid oil and the other is cream. The consistency of the solid oil is exactly like the Clinique's Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm. They're both balms that will easily melt on your skin. The other one's consistency is a typical cream. These cleansers are fragrance-free and yes, they really don't smell like anything.

 solid oil

cleansing cream

As per CH, I use the solid oil first to take off the makeup/sunscreen or the first layer of dirt on my skin. This is comparable to the Clinique's TTDO cleansing balm, maybe even better. The only difference is that the Clinique's will last you a long time while this will go a bit faster. As mentioned in my review here http://brushstrokesandlullabies.blogspot.com/2017/03/hg-cleanser.html, Clinique goes a long way. For this balm, you will need a coin size amount or more for your face (and neck).  Clinique's is oilier than this but like I said, they both will easily melt on the skin. The Pixi x CH's solid oil is already good for taking off makeup and sunscreen on your face. No trace of dirt! I'm so impressed. I don't think you need a second cleanse anymore but of course, I know better 😉 So I use the cream as second and morning cleanse. This also treats the skin. It has vitamin c which gives brightness after use. Not only does my skin look brighter but also feels smoother. It doesn't dry out me out, in fact, it leaves moisture on my problematic skinAnother thing I love about this is that it's so good for travelling. I don't need to bring 2 bottles of cleansers because these 2 come in a very tasteful looking tub. It's so convenient!

As for the con, my skin reacted to the cream. I got 2-3 little zits/acne because my skin was adjusting. It was probably the vitamin c that made my skin hate it for a few days. Well, I don't really consider this a con because that's just how my chaotic skin is like but I got really nervous (as usual). I thought my skin hated this which almost broke my heart because I loved this from the beginning! I was elated when the adjusting period ended 💖

For the real con, this isn't easily available. You can only get this on Sephora Ph and it is currently out of stock! I'm on the waitlist for quite sometime now so I hope they will restock soon.

Do I find this expensive? For an excellent product, no. I find it reasonable. Yes Pixi is a drugstore brand but mind you, this is a collab with Lady Hirons and it comes in 2 different cleansers.

Will I continue using the product?
Actually, I finished the whole tub and like I said, I'm waiting for the restock 😭

Will i repurchase the product?
Stating the obvious, YES!

Will I recommend the product?
YES!
