THOUGHTS
I was supposed to get the Avene milk cleanser at the time I got this but since all products will be repackaged, the product wasn't available and this was the only cleanser available at the Avene counter. Since this was recommended by my favorite beauty guru/mentor, Lisa Eldridge and it's Avene, I thought why not try it?

This doesn't smell anything (it claims to be fragrance free) and the consistency is like lotion (hence the name lotion) but thin and light.

once blended:

People compare this to Cetaphil and even recommends it than this product because it's cheaper yet they both have the same promise: to cleanse dry and sensitive skin gently. I understand where they are coming from. They both almost have the same consistency only Cetaphil is runny and like what I mentioned earlier, made for dry and sensitive skin and very gentle. But! But, this product takes off the dirt twice than cetaphil. Avene is also way more gentle than Cetaphil. This is really good for sensitive skin and great for people with rosacea. This doesn't have SLS unlike Cetaphil. Having a combination, acne-prone and sensitive skin, I didn't get any reactions to this at all.

I pour a generous amount of this and massage it on my dry skin. They say to wipe the product with cotton pad after use and proceed with your skincare routine. I use a dry flannel or muslin cloth and rinse it with water. I suggest you do the same because I find that there is a white cast or residue after use. Regardless, I like the feel of cold water on my skin so I wash my face after I cleanse. I tried to take a picture of the white cast on my skin but you won't see the difference on the after rinse because my camera phone sucks. I'll post it anyway 😂😂😂

Yeah, I know! no difference on the picture but I promise you there is. I thought it's worth a post 😂😂😂

I use this for morning cleanse and second cleanse in the evening. Tried using this for double cleansing and it was also good but I prefer a cleansing oil for first cleanse.

I can't find a negative comment on this product except I wouldn't recommend it to take off the makeup. I just prefer to use a stronger cleanser to do that job. As for the price, I honestly think that it is reasonable. Once again, Avene did a great job and stayed true to their promise!
