Shake well. Hold the can 20cm from dry hair & concentrate on the roots. Massage through with fingertips, brush & finish.

THOUGHTS
     If you've read my previous blogs about hair, you'd know that it's best for my super thin, dry and frizzy hair to not wash it everyday. That's how it's supposed to be but it's not typical for Filipinos to not wash their hair everyday. Since it's super hot in the Philippines, you have no choice but to take a bath and that includes washing your hair. I never gave in to the tip of not washing your hair everyday until dry shampoos are invented. And here come my HG Batiste dry shampoo and COLAB dry shampoo.

     I was so excited to try this when I saw it at Watsons Ph. Since I can't get a hold of the Batiste easily, I bought it right away. I was really hopeful. And not just hopeful,but so happy to find out how affordable this dry shampoo is.

     The smell reminded me of a men's deodorant ✌✌✌😂😂😂To be fair, I suck at explaining scents but the smell is just too strong for me (just like my husband's deodorant). I read at Ruth Crilly's  (creator of COLAB) blog that her inspiration for the scent is Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino (oooppsss 😅) and a holiday body oil. Maybe it's just me but it doesn't remind me of those scents. I guess, I'm just not really a fan of the Monaco's scent.      This claimed that it is residue-free. I somewhat agree with that claim. I said "somewhat" because it's not consistent. Sometimes the residue is invisible and sometimes there's a white cast. You can easily brush the white cast off so it's not that big of a deal. I was just surprised because of the claims.

     My main issue with this product was, it didn't absorb the oil nor refreshed my hair. You see, even though I have dry hair, my roots are greasy. That's why I can't not wash my hair everyday because it gets greasy at the end of the day especially next day. What also disappointed me was when I used this, my hair got super greasy. The first time I used this, I thought I didn't spray enough product on my hair. The next time I used it, I sprayed a lot of product and voila! It's like I poured oil on my hair. It was a mess 😣 I forgot to take a photo, my apologies. I also tried to spray a small amount of this but nothing happened. Basically, this failed my hair 😔 it was so unfortunate for me because I was really rooting for this product to work. One more thing, the 200ml can/tin lasted me for 2 weeks. Again, I was shocked because the Batiste dry shampoo 200ml can/tin lasted me for months. I actually planned to get a small one with a different scent for the sake of the review but I don't think it's worth it so here I am, with one photo only.

     Despite of what happened, I still think that this product has a potential. You will never come across a cheap residue-free dry shampoo here in the Philippines. Well, yes you may get a good dry shampoo in some online stores but it comes with a price (literally 😀 and most of the time you have to wait for it to be available because it's easily sold out 😣) while Colab is available at any Watsons store. So convenient! I also tried looking for this on Colab's website but can't seem to find it. I'm not sure if they still sell it in the UK or because they're promoting new dry shampoos. 

WILL I RECOMMEND THIS
Maybe but for those who have dry hair and roots only.

Sadly and obviously, no.
