notes
This has been popular among the Youtubers and beauty gurus in the Philippines. I've heard and read testimonies about how great this product is. But it's a different story for me. It's no longer a secret that this product didn't work for me because of the title. It's pretty much a giveaway, yes? So let's jump right in.

This smells like a milk candy. It reminds me of a pinoy candy called "hawhaw". If you are familiar with it or not, I must tell you that they smell exactly the same. This has the same texture with table salt or iodized salt. It doesn't melt on the skin easily when you rub this.

I used this for a few weeks on my elbows and other areas where I think needs lightening. I didn't use it on my whole body. I just want to put it out there and be transparent. I loved the smell of this as it reminds me of childhood plus I'm a sucker for anything sweet so I wasn't surprised that I was into the smell of this whitening/exfoliating salt. I liked that after use, my skin was so smooth. Really smooth. But not as smooth as the baby's skin (this claimed to give you a baby's skin after use)!

So why did this fail me? First, I find this abrasive. I felt a burning sensation while rubbing this on my skin. I have slightly sensitive skin so this reaction didn't come as a surprise. Second, I had a hard time using this. It was a hassle! I used this for a few weeks in the shower. Most of the time, too much product was coming out of the package. Sometimes less but if I added more, it will be way too much. Maybe I'm just that stupid or a baby but I find it really hard to control ๐Ÿ˜– Third, they said this is a whitening product but it just darkened the areas where I used it. I wish I took photos. I didn't bother taking a picture now since I wasn't able to take a before photo.

The price for me is reasonable especially if you will use it on certain areas. But if you will use this on your whole body then it will be a different story. At least for me.

I actually want this to work (I really love the smell! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‚). Maybe the product is too harsh on my skin? Maybe it's the formula? Maybe one of the ingredients doesn't suit me? I'm still on my journey on looking out for ingredients that don't suit me. I'm clueless. All I know is that I won't be using this anymore.

will i recommend this product
No. Get a whitening soap. It's cheaper and more effective.

will i re-purchase this product
No
