Glossier is a growing company delivering good quality beauty products. It's no wonder they get all the hype. Known as one of the brands that has minimalist packaging, Emily Weiss (CEO) wanted "to make beauty as much of an element of personal style as fashion". Their trademark is "skin first. makeup second." and they pretty much stayed true to this.

So how did this perform on my lashes? Let's jump right in.

This smells like a typical mascara and has a wet consistency (not thick). The plastic bristles wand is flexible.

Sorry, the camera didn't pick up how wet the consistency is.

This doesn't dry fast. Having an unfortunate lashes, the 1st coat didn't make much of a difference. The 2nd coat reminds me of Benefit's they're real mascara's 1st coat only this isn't clumpy. Just like what this mascara claims, it gives length. It somewhat enhances my lashes. Glossier's makeup doesn't have much coverage because they love a no makeup makeup look. So I guess that's why it only enhanced my lashes a bit. This will not give you a dramatic lashes. I like this on lower lashes too. Here are the pictures:

What I don't like about this product is that it doesn't hold my curls. I have to curl my lashes twice while the product is on. To be fair, lots of mascaras do that to my stubborn lashes so this didn't come as a surprise. 

I was hoping the opposite thing though.

I tested the longevity of this mascara. Because of the state of my eyelids and lashes, the result was not good. Mind you, I didn't put on mascara primer. I feel like the result will be better once I put it on but I really want to test the power of this mascara 💪 So when I called it a night, I noticed there were fall outs and smudges. The camera didn't pick it up but I'll post it anyway.

10:30 pm. If you can see those little black shadow under my eye, that's the one I'm talking about. It's so sad it doesn't translate on the camera.

I also tested this while sleeping. So I wore the mascara from 9 am to 6 pm. I just went on with my day and fell asleep on the afternoon for 2 hours. Here's what happened:

Do you see my lower lashes? Mascara is barely there. My upper lashes is so straight. But I slept so I'm not gonna be too hard on this.

So here are my thoughts:

will i continue using this product?

yes. I will only use it for my no makeup makeup look. For a different look, I prefer dramatic lashes.

will i repurchase this product?

honestly, I'm on the fence because I love that this isn't clumpy. It goes well with my no makeup makeup look. It's as if I didn't put on mascara but my lashes look a bit better. But as you can see on the pictures, it only gave me a little bit of a difference. So I'm not that crazy on this. Plus there are mascaras that aren't clumpy and will perform better than this. But I have to reiterate that this isn't horrible. Hmm.. I'm gonna say maybe 😂
