DIRECTIONS
Shake the Gentle Toner well before use to mix the biphasic formula. Apply with a soft cotton pad to face and neck after cleansing.
THOUGHTS
I've been looking for a toner that does its job without irritating my skin since I have combination, super sensitive and acne-prone skin. I've tried a few local brands in the past but not one impressed me. Since I trust Avene, I thought why not try their toner.
This has a fragrance. It's not strong and it's actually pleasant. I can't explain the scent to be honest 😂😂😂✌✌✌ but it reminds me of flowers. The consistency is like a thin water, just like other toners. This toner actually separates and I have to turn it upside down to mix. I don't shake it.
I fell in love with this after my first application. It's really gentle and it doesn't sting. Like I said earlier, my skin is super sensitive that it reacts right away to skincare products. I usually feel a burning sensation with a toner but I don't feel anything when I use this. I also give my skin a time to adjust (usually 1 week) to products that I use but I didn't need it for this. I remember being impressed after my first application because this actually gave me a brighter skin. My skin is so soft and hydrated after use. You might think that this isn't good for the skin because of its fragrance but I assure you that this is really gentle. It takes care of my skin. They aren't joking when they said this perfects dirt/makeup removal and protects the skin while being gentle at the same time. They meant it. It really does the job! I only use this once a day (night) after cleansing. The only negative thing that I'd say about this is the price. It's really pricey. I think every good toner is expensive nowadays. I can't find a cheap toner that does a good job.
