I've been a regular customer of the tokyobeauty.ph online store. That's my go to place when I ran out of my Japanese skincare products. I've been browsing other products on their store and found this eye cream. Since I've been looking for a good eye cream and noticed some lines under my eyes, I've decided to try this out. It had me on "placenta". Anything that has collagen, placenta, brightening or retinol makes me giddy. I also think that the price is affordable considering the amount of the product plus the effect that it can lessen the lines under eyes, SOLD!
This smells like dying flowers 😂 Initial thoughts- scent is similar to Kenzo (perfume). But as you massage the product on the eye area, it will smell like wilt or dead flowers. The scent eventually fades away. It has a thick consistency which made me assure that it will really hydrate the eye area. It doesn't feel tacky nor heavy. My super sensitive skin didn't have a bad reaction with this product (no milia!).
I only use a small amount of this and I find that it is enough for my eye area so it's safe to say that a tube will last me for a long time. I only use this once a day (morning) since I have a different eye cream at night. It's really hydrating, moisturizing and brightens my dark circles. This is slightly tinted, you won't even notice it. It also sits well with makeup especially if I'm using a heavy or cakey concealer. I don't need to mix my Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage with my moisturizer to prevent creasing as this eye cream made a lot of difference. This is my first eye cream and I was impressed in terms of moisturization. What it failed to deliver is lessening fine lines under my eyes. As I've mentioned earlier, one of the reasons why I also bought this is to do that job but nothing happened (I've been using this for months). I just hope that it will really prevent ageing.
